Camp Shawu at Shishangeni, by BON Hotels lights up the African sky with a new look

Shishangeni, operated by BON Hotels, has re-opened Camp Shawu, following a mini-renovation. Guests can make their way along the new walkway to the refurbished pool and pool deck, and enjoy delicious food in the beautifully appointed dining area. 

Shishangeni by BON Hotels, located on a 15 000 hectare private concession of the world-renowned Kruger National Park is easily accessible by air or road and comprises three camps: Shishangeni Private Lodge, Camp Shonga and Camp Shawu, each adding a different experience.

Camp Shawu named after the most famous of the African elephants, the Magnificent Seven can accommodate 10 guests in 5 African inspired rooms, built with authentic buffalo dung walls, that overlook the Mpanamana dam and make for excellent game viewing. Walkways lead to the pool area and dining room with unfettered views of the Kruger Park, its game, flora and fauna.
